Verse 1:
[G] Be still, my [C] soul: The [D] Lord is on thy [G] side;
With [C] patience bear thy [D] cross of grief or [G] pain.
[G] Leave to thy [Em] God to [Bm] order [D] and [Am] provide;
In ev'ry [G] change he [C] faithful [D] will [B] remain.
[G] Be still, my [Em] soul: Thy [Bm] best, thy [D] heav'nly [Am] Friend,
Thru thorny [G] ways leads [C] to a [D] joyful [G] end.
Verse 2:
[G] Be still, my [C] soul: Thy [D] God doth [G] undertake;
To [G] guide the [C] future as [D] he has the [G] past.
[G] Thy hope, thy [Em] confidence [Bm] let [D] nothing [Am] shake;
[Am] All now [G] mysterious [C] shall be bright at [B] last.
[G] Be still, my [Em] soul: The [Bm] waves and [D] winds still [Am] know;
His voice who [G] ruled them [C] while he [D] dwelt [G] below.
Verse 3:
[G] Be still, my [C] soul: The [D] hour is hast'ning [G] on;
[G] When we shall [C] be forever [D] with the [G] Lord,
[G] When [Em] disappointment, [Bm] grief, and [D] fear are [Am] gone;
[Am] Sorrow [G] forgot, love's [C] purest joys [B] restored.
[G] Be still, my [Em] soul: When [Bm] change and [D] tears are [Am] past;
All safe and [G] blessed [C] we shall [D] meet at [G] last.
